Título: Mukani - Descubre Su Fuerza
Autor: Renata Tolli
Sinopse: It was after an ancestry test that showed her Guarani origins that the writer Renata Tolli became curious about the ancient peoples. Living outside of Brazil for many years, Ella Renata developed an awareness of understanding, rescuing and preserving the culture of the native tribes. From his own experience, he came up with the idea of a fictional story inspired by the mythology of the Huni Kuin tribe, guardians of one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, in the heart of the Amazon jungle, spread over seven communities between Brazil and Peru. This is how “Mukani discovers his strength” was born. Wrapped in magic and mystery, the book tells the incredible story of the girl "yuxiã" who has the power to communicate with animals, plants and enchanted spirits Yuxibu, being the only person capable of helping the people of her town against the deforestation plans of Lord Txakabu, the Lord of Evil. To undertake this journey, Renata had the help of a team of specialists from several countries, such as the anthropologist and indigenous scholar Virginia Gandres, Professor Dr. Joaquim Maná Huni Kui, one of the few native Brazilians with a doctorate in linguistics, and the illustrators Vinícius Galhardo, responsible for the cover and illustrations, and Acelino Huni Kui, for the Hãtxa Kuin illustrations. The book was produced in two trilingual Spanish, Hãtxa Kuin and English; and Portuguese, Hãtxa Kuin and English. Its pre-launch took place on March 5 in Miami (USA) at The Vital Voices Democracy event, by Vital Voices Global Partnership, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works with women leaders in the areas of economic empowerment, political participation of women and human rights.
