About the Author
Beatriz Resende holds a Ph.D in Compared literature and a masters degree in Literary Theory. she is adjunct-professor of UNIRIO Drama School, research of PACC/UFRJ and from CNPQ. She wrote many books about Lima Barreto and in the Brazilain Literature field. She is a Philologist, director of the reasearch department of Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation.
