Sinopse: Gary Doherty is a 63 year old retired social worker. After recently retiring, his newer so far job without pay has been to increase his flow of writing. Gary writes touching memoir pieces of his life in Illinois whether it be college experiences or family memories. He also writes humorous fiction, often with ideas that have been developed by almost 40 years of different social work clients who have inspired him. As well as writing, Gary enjoys doing readings of his work in coffee houses, restaurants, bars and churches where he has developed a following. He's proud of this book even though he failed a grammar class in 1979 in Illinois State University.
