About the Author
Ana Karina Montreuil is from Rio de Janeiro. She is from a wealthy family of politicians and daughter of divorced parents, she tried good things and bad things. She grew up in the noble area of Rio among jet sets from the seventies, pure rock and roll. She ended up getting involved with heavy drugs and nowadays she carries a background of rehab clinics. But what she really likes to talk about is life, yoga and trips to Bali. Carla Mühlhaus grew up in Petrópolis, RJ; and right after learning how to read and write she knew she wanted to write as a career. She went to school to study journalism and after that worked as a reporter for some Brazilian publications. Little by little she exchanged the magazines for books. A bela menina do cachorrinho (the beautiful girl with the dog) is her first biography.
